The Municipality of Budapest has been operating the Madách Theater Public-Benefit Nonprofit Corporation, which has been 100% owned since 1 July 2004 and has an outstanding degree of public benefit, as a non-profit limited liability company since 24 June 2009. Based on their agreement of 6 April 2020, the Madách Theater will be included in the 2020-2024. It is operated jointly by the Metropolitan Municipality and the Ministry of Human Resources.
The task of Madách Theater Nonprofit Ltd. is to operate the Madách Theater.
