Info
Seress Rezső, composer of many evergreen hits, and the author of the world-famous song, the “Suicide Anthem,” decides to commit suicide himself. Before, he returns to where he spent most of his life as a pianist: the legendary Kispipa. He comes to "pay the bills" to tell the story of his life - among with decades of Hungarian history - recalling it all with songs and dancing. And there comes Waiter Jani, his only friend. And there comes Rezső's wife, Helen, with whom he has endured all the struggles of his long life. They start a game. Seress only finds out at the end that Helene loved him — she loved him with all her heart. "I was happy, and I'm an idiot, because I didn't even notice that I was!" They play. They sing. They dance. And their song sounds like telling us: "Let's love each other, kids!"
